Wouldn’t it be nice to go on a holiday with all the comforts of home and even a babysitter included? How about if it also let you significantly cut down on the holiday spending? Well now you can by renting a holiday house and going away with … your mother?
According to a recent study by HomeAway.co.uk, over 50 percent of British responders were happy to go on holidays with their mother-in-law, with 20 percent saying that doing so cut down on the costs, as well as 13 percent enjoying the perk of a free babysitter.
Three quarters of those surveyed liked the quality time that travelling with their extended family gave them and 45 percent said that they travelled altogether at least once a year. On the other hand, 16 percent admitted that they would rather stay home than travel with their mother-in-law, whilst 18 percent said that travelling together would cause tension between the family members.
To help enhance the family experience, why not join the 40 percent of people who have explored the option of renting a holiday house and enjoy the next holiday for half the price and double the room.
