Nope! It’s in the Gold Coast which is in the state of Queensland, Australia. The Gold Coast is where a lot of Aussies take their holidays, especially families because of the theme parks and young adults because of the nightlife right beside the beach, and the theme parks 😛 It’s kind of our Ibiza I guess, minus the Spaniards and the crazy prices and is a lot more chilled out.

I think we all could! I wish I had actually stayed there instead of just writing about it… maybe they will see all the praise that is being given to them through here and give me a free night 😛

Gold Coast is all glitz and glamour these days with parties all night long and the theme parks (still?) a stone throws away. Perhaps because it’s the main destination for schoolies (like spring break) and all the kids descend upon it after they finish their final school exams, that its now more commercial. Ah well… still have some excellent family and friends holiday memories from there 🙂
